Last week we discussed the book Josefina Learns a Lesson by Valerie Tripp in our American Girl Book Club. Our craft was metal tooling. We used several types of items to make impressions on the metal such as: paper clips, plastic forks, beads, foam shapes, craft sticks, and pencils. After the girls drew their ideas on scrap paper, they transformed the aluminum into art. Color was added with markers, but if you have more time paint would look great too! The girls in the class were 7 to 10 years old. They did an awesome job. Below are the instructions and some examples.
