As a librarian and book lover I think books are the best gifts. Here are some suggestions.
The Christmas Bear by Henrietta Stickland and Illustrated by Paul Stickland -A lovely book about a bear who mistakenly ends up in Santa’s workshop with eye-popping pictures that are enchanting.
Millie in the Snow by Alexander Steffensmeier -Millie is funny cow who loves to deliver the mail.
The Hat by Jan Brett-The silly story of animals who think they have found a hat. Any story by Jan Brett is a fabulous gift. Her illustrations are whimsical and carefully detailed making all her books enchanting for the eyes as well as the mind.
Can You See What I See?: Toyland Express: Picture Puzzles to Search and Solve by Walter Wick-Walter Wick is a true artist and his look and find books are extremely popular at my library. They keep kids interested for hours. They are really fun to share too!
